March 5, 2024 — In 2023, Trans Mountain proudly supported 125 organizations and local community initiatives, contributing more than $290,000 in financial assistance and in-kind donations. Through the Community Investment Program, we fund valuable legacy projects aligned with our three pillars: Environmental Stewardship, Community Well-Being and Education in communities across the pipeline corridor. Upholding our commitment to being a good neighbour, Trans Mountain values giving back to the communities where we operate.
In November 2023, Trans Mountain’s annual United Way Campaign exceeded its campaign goal, raising more than $130,000 for those in need. Our entire workforce hosted a variety of engaging events to raise money, including an online auction, raffles and even a pie throwing event. With every pledged dollar employees donated, Trans Mountain matched contributions by 50 cents, resulting in more than $22,000 in matching funds.
