October 23, 2023 —  In order to further promote the development of the international logistics industry and strengthen the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s shipping industry, our branch has actively integrated approximately 3.5 hectares of land in units 2 and 3 of Qianzhen Shanggang District, and plans to introduce private operators to invest in the construction of international logistics warehouses to combine Port capacity services have been further expanded to optimize the warehousing and logistics development environment. After launching the announcement investment operation on July 31, 2012, it was confirmed that First Postal Transport Co., Ltd. will obtain the best investment through the second stage selection process on September 11, 2020. In the future, the First Postal Union Company will also spend more than NT$600 million to build two new logistics warehouses to create a new cross-border comprehensive logistics park.

The land in Units 2 and 3 of Shanggang District, Gangqian Town, Kaohsiung is an existing large-scale development land in Kaohsiung Port, with a total development area of ​​3.5 hectares. Not only does the base have a superior geographical location, but it is also adjacent to the container terminal and directly connected to the new elevated road. The convenient transportation advantage of the national highway is a rare and excellent land for the development of warehousing and logistics; First Postal Union Company is mainly engaged in cross-border e-commerce, sea and air logistics warehousing and semiconductor equipment free trade business in the Asia-Pacific region. At present, in addition to the former leased in Kaohsiung Port The first floor of the warehouse in Unit 1 of Zhenshang Port Area is used to operate shipping express and free trade port businesses. In addition, Taoyuan Airport also operates cross-border e-commerce cargo transfer services such as sea and air combined transport, cargo transshipment, and postal transshipment. Combining the existing high-quality logistics management services with the advantages of seaports and airport warehousing bases and integrating sea and airport transportation capabilities will attract international goods to Taiwan for re-export and distribution, and promote the development of logistics-related industries.

The First Postal Union Company has completed a contract with the Kaohsiung Port Branch on October 6, 2020. In the future, storage facilities will be constructed and developed in phases. The second unit land construction project is scheduled to be held on October 30, 2020. The Kaohsiung Integrated Logistics Park “Groundbreaking Ceremony” not only plans to build a two-story logistics warehouse with a total floor area of ​​5,200 square meters, but also plans to set up an approach road on the second floor platform to directly connect the elevated vehicle approach road and platform of Unit 1 of Qianzhen Shanggang District. It will allow warehousing and logistics transport vehicles to be diverted onto elevated roads and reduce the impact of vehicle energy consumption, further improving the overall efficiency of the development base and operational service efficiency. The relevant construction projects are expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2013, and the construction of the second unit logistics warehouse will be completed. After the project, Unit 3 will be developed and a second logistics warehouse built.

The First Postal Union Company plans to build a cross-border comprehensive logistics park in Kaohsiung Port after the completion of the development of Units 2 and 3 of Qianzhen Shanggang District in the future, plus the maritime express cargo area of ​​Unit 1 that is already in operation. The branch will continue to actively assist various shipping companies and different industry players in cross-border cooperation. Taking advantage of Kaohsiung Port’s dense route advantages and efficient shipping services, it will cooperate with the operators to gather international shipping cargo through Kaohsiung Port for storage and transfer, warehousing management and logistics distribution.
