Shey-Harding is actively recruiting for a Key Client Director, Marine Terminal:
Summary: Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Key Client Director will be an energetic, experienced supply chain professional with a proven track record of building customer relationships and developing solutions to help clients gain visibility, efficiency, and stability in their supply chains. The Key Client Director will be the principal point of contact for the terminal’s shippers and trucking partners and will also interface with ocean carriers. Key internal interface will be with peers in customer service and operations. The Key Client Director will manage interface with relevant industry associations and work with internal and external partners to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Location: Terminal Island, CA (Port of Los Angeles complex)

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements: At least 8 years’ experience in a marine terminal environment supporting global clients and their supply chain activities. Knowledge of marine terminal technology platforms and MS Office products and Salesforce is a must.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a strong customer service and teamwork orientation. He/she/they will be a collaborative, detail oriented professional with high standards for performance and execution. Consideration will be given to candidates with trucking or ocean carrier customer service background, with general knowledge of marine terminal activities.
