March 6, 2023 — The Port of Alaska is currently seeking a Project Management/Controls Engineer. The successful candidate will participate in project-specific budget, resource, and schedule tracking. Provide project documentation and reporting. Review management, design, and  construction reports for accuracy, identify poorly performing activities, and provide  recommendations for corrective measures.

Professional project management training is desirable. Experience in Primavera P6 project scheduling software is required.

The Port of Alaska is currently advancing a multi-year multi-phased modernization program. The intent of the program is to provide port facilities that will efficiently meet demands for delivery of food, fuel, and other commodities to Anchorage and the rest of Alaska over the next 75 years. This is one of the largest public works projects in the state. Phases are programed through 2035.
