February 5, 2023 — Harman Kemp North America Ltd, led by Alan Rixon and team are proud to have worked with Local Broker AM insurance in order to have placed the Transportation Liability insurance with Lloyd’s of London Underwriters to enable this project to begin, and we are pleased to announce it will begin on Saturday 4th February 2023.
Doosan Ukudu Power and Doosan Enerbility, along with Pacific Unlimited, Inc., have been contracted to move heavy haul components for the new 198-MW power plant in Ukudu, Dededo. The plant’s construction is scheduled for completion and to be operational by April 2024. The Ukudu Power Plant will use 50% less fuel than Guam’s current power plants. It will be the most efficient energy producer on Guam, will help create a more stable power system for THE island, will burn 94% cleaner emissions and will substantially reduce the cost of power for all residents.
