Summary: Reporting to the President, the Chief Financial Officer is a member of the Senior Management Team and oversees the company’s Finance and Pricing teams.  The CFO is responsible for the financial leadership of the Company and oversees the operational financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, treasury, and pricing functions.  (Key functions are provided in the full job description which is available upon request.)

Location:  Tacoma, WA area

Client Company Outline:  International maritime transportation company.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.

Required Qualifications and Experience:  Minimum of ten years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles with at least five years’ experience in an executive level role.  The ideal candidate will be a progressive and visionary leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  He or she will have extensive interface with other business segment leaders and will be expected to focus on efficiencies and technology in a highly collaborative, collegial atmosphere.

The Finance and Pricing team is comprised of 9 staff members including finance managers and analysts and contracts/pricing managers and analysts.  The CFO has two direct reports.
