June 2020 — Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Port of Hueneme has announced that they are not holding their September Banana Festival.

Since the COVID-19 crisis began, Port of Hueneme Commissioners and staff have been pitching in to help communities by partnering with other agencies for community relief efforts. The Port has participated in numerous events since March, and plan to continue with whatever way they can help to keep workers, partners and community members safe and to provide resources.

So, instead of this year’s Port Banana Festival, the Port will be bringing the banana festival to you and the community!
