December 1, 2020 — The Port of Grays Harbor has provided an update on the Westport Marina dredging project:
We have reached the home stretch of the Westport Marina dredging project. To date, the contractor has removed over 86,000 cubic yards of material from the boat basin floor since September 21st, 2020. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we bring this critical project to completion.
The final section of dredging activity will require coordinated, timely movement of boats in order to reach all slips. The marina staff will call boaters with temporary slip assignments as the dredge progresses into each area. We thank you in advance for being prepared to move with 48-hour notice.
If you fail to move in a timely manner you are responsible for all costs associated with port staff or hired tug relocating your vessel.
Please reach out to the marina office with any questions.
