EXPLORE AND DISCOVER IN TAIWAN

Here are two more examples of the exciting sights and culture that you and your companion will experience at the APP Annual Conference in Taiwan:

The Miaokou Night Market, located a short distance from the Evergreen Laurel Hotel in the heart of Keelung, is famous throughout Taiwan for its large selection of outstanding food at inexpensive prices.  It meanders through lanes and alleys in the downtown area surrounding the Dianji Temple.  Try local specialties such as pot edged pancake soup, seafood tempura, thick rice, soybean noodle soup, unique fried sandwiches, shaved ice served with peanuts and sauces wrapped in a spring roll wrapper, and much more!  Click here for more information.

Companions will enjoy a tour of the National Center for Traditional Arts, located approximately 70 kilometers south of Keelung in the Wujie township.  The aim of the center is to ensure that traditional Taiwanese arts are passed on to future generations.  The park has 21 buildings and sites and was built to meet the needs of traditional theater, music, dance, arts, and acrobatics.  For more information, click here.
