Dr. Cheng-Min
Feng
Dr. Cheng-Min Feng is a Professor of Institute of Traffic and
Transportation in National Chiao Tung University. He has a B.S and M.S
in Taiwan, and a Ph.D from the Northwestern University. Dr. Feng
specializes in transportation and logistics, transportation planning
and management, urban and regional analysis, project evaluation and
decision making. He has published books and papers on various aspects
of transport, logistics and urban planning and obtained three different
research awards in Taiwan. His current research interests include the
global logistics, sustainable development, and transportation and land
use.
Dr.
Chin-Shan Lu

Dr. Chin-Shan Lu has served on the faculty of the Department of
Transportation and Communication Management Science at the National
Cheng Kung University in Taiwan since 1998, where he is currently
Professor of Shipping and Logistics Management. He received his BA and
MBA in Shipping and Transportation Management from National Taiwan
Ocean University, Taiwan, and Ph.D. in Maritime Studies and
International Transport from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. His
research focuses on transport logistics, shipping and port operations
and management, supply chain management, shipping sustainable
development, and maritime safety. His research papers have been
accepted or published in numerous academic journals.

Lungshan
Temple
Lungshan Temple was built in 1738 by
settlers from Fujian, China. It served as a place of worship and a
gathering place for the Chinese settlers, and is considered to be
classical architecture of Taiwanese Culture. It worships a mixture of
Buddhist, Taoist, and folk deities. Click here for more information.
National Palace Museum
The National
Palace Museum in Taipei is home to over 650,000 pieces of
Chinese art and artifacts. Objects include treasures inherited from the
Sung, Yüan, Ming and Ch'ing dynasties. Much of the collections
were previously stored in the Forbidden City, located in Beijing. It is
the 15th most-visited museum in the world. For more information, click here.
