Please join us for APP's 97th Annual Conference hosted by the Port of Umatilla, Oregon USA at the gorgeous Skamania Lodge
on July 18-21, 2010!  Located in Stevenson, Washington, in the heart of the amazing Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge is less than one hour from Portland International Airport (PDX).

Take home valuable and timely information from outstanding port industry speakers that will benefit your port or business.  Use plentiful networking time to build new partnerships with Pacific port colleagues.  Bring your companion to experience the unique splendor of the Pacific Northwest.

We have arranged special tours for you and your companion of the Bonneville Dam & Locks (commercial navigation, hydropower production, irrigation, fish protection, and recreation all in one!), the
Port of Umatilla, and the Tamastslikt Cultural Institute (celebrating Native American tribal cultures).  You'll enjoy lunch at Hamley Steakhouse in the famous rodeo town of Pendleton and an authentic barbecue cookout dinner in Hermiston, Oregon.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the magnificent
Multnomah Falls and a special boat tour aboard the historic Sternwheeler Rose to get up-close tours of the Port of Vancouver, Washington and the Port of Portland, Oregon, including a wonderful dinner on board the vessel!  Additional special tours are being planned for your companion during plenary sessions.

Skamania Lodge, overlooking the majestic Columbia River Gorge, has all modern amenities including fine dining, a fitness center and pool, and wireless internet access.  We will play golf at Skamania's award-winning golf course.  We'll be a short distance from nearby sightseeing and recreation opportunities.  Discounted hotel room rates for the Annual Conference are just $149 (Forest View) or $179 (River View) per night.
