William Sheffield, Director
Port of Anchorage, Alaska USA

Bill
Sheffield has been a leader in business, government, and public policy
for most of the 53 years he has lived in Alaska. He served as
Alaska's governor from 1982-1986 following a business career in which
he built a company that became one of the largest private employers in
Alaska and the Yukon Territory. He currently serves as Director
of the Port of Anchorage as well as a trustee of Alaska Pacific
University; a member of the Advisory Board of ENSTAR Natural Gas; a
charter member of Commonwealth North, Alaska's leading public affairs
forum. He previously served as President & CEO of the
Alaska Railroad Corporation and now serves as its Chairman of the Board.
Vic Angoco,
Vice President/Pacific
Matson Navigation Company
Vic Angoco
has been in the maritime industry since 1990 holding a wide range of
operations and sales management positions. Prior to joining
Matson, Angoco worked for American President Lines (APL) for four years
as manager of operations in Guam, and worked for Sea-Land
Services in Guam from 1990 to 1992 as operations manager. He
joined Matson in 1996. Vic earned a B.S. in business
management from Oregon State University. He serves as chair
of the Guam Bookmobile Foundation, board member of the Mount Carmel
Endowment Foundation, and a member of the Rotary Club of Guam. He is
also a past board member of the Junior Achievement of Guam.

| APP PEOPLE: ART COWIE DIES IN VANCOUVER |
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Art Cowie,
who died of respiratory failure on November 21, 2009. He was
75.
Art was a former board member for the North Fraser Port
Authority in Vancouver, BC Canada and was an active participant
and officer for APP for many years. He was named an APP Life
Member last year.
Art was known throughout British Columbia for being a landscape
architect, land planner, politician, Pacific National Exhibition
director, developer, commentator, and writer. Our thoughts
and prayers are with Art's family.
