ASSOCIATION OF PACIFIC PORTS
Position Open for APP Management Contract
Message from Lisa Pomasl, Executive Director:
As many of you already know, APP would like to add a strong sales component to the executive management services contract. This is an exciting time for APP. With the anticipated increased growth in port membership, APP's members will be part of a larger network to share ideas in. This new management plan helps pave the way to ensuring APP's motto of "Building Partnerships Throughout the Pacific" continues to remain true.
While I've been requested to apply for this new management services contract, after deep reflection and consulting with my staff, I have decided not to do so. This was a difficult decision, as I've enjoyed providing management services to APP for the last 13 years. In order to allow APP time to conduct the search for a new executive director and team, I signed a short-term contract that ends on January 31, 2020. Kersten Green and I will continue to handle APP's management, as well as coordination of the November 2019 Funding Seminar and the 2020 Winter Conference. We are pleased to be able to support APP during this transition.
The executive management search is being conducted by Sue Dvonch of Shey-Harding Associates, Inc. Please click here for more information.
