At our recent 98th Annual Conference, hosted by Port of Long Beach in beautiful Southern California on July 17-20, 2011, attendees gathered together to learn about timely issues and trends facing ports, tour incredible facilities, learn about recent successes and challenges at other ports, and build stronger partnerships with port colleagues from throughout the Pacific.

During our business session, we elected James Matayoshi from the Republic of the Marshall Islands Ports Authority as 2011-12 APP President, elected new APP Executive Committee members, approved the 2011-12 APP budget, and decided that the next four APP Annual Conferences will be held in Hagåtña, Guam (2012); Redwood City, California USA (2013); Longview, Washington USA (2014); and Kaohsiung, Taiwan ROC (2015).
